Workshop on strengthening of antibiotic sensitivity testing for private sector Medical Laboratory Technologists

A two-day workshop on strengthening of antibiotic sensitivity testing for private sector Medical Laboratory Technologists was successfully conducted by the Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists on 24th and 25th September 2025. The workshop was held at the Colombo Medical Faculty with participation of Medical Laboratory Technologists around the country. The resource persons included Dr Sujatha Pathirage, Dr Deepika Priyanthi, Dr Madhumani Abeywardena, Dr Jayanthi Elwitigala, Dr Samanmalee Gunasekera, Dr Sumudu Suranadee, Dr Jayathri Galappaththy and Dr Mario Alles. The workshop included lectures, case discussions and hands on practical sessions. The SLCM wishes to thank all resource persons, staff of the department of Microbiology, Colombo Medical Faculty and all participants for making this even a success
