Notice of the Annual General Meeting 2025 of the Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists (SLCM) will be held on 31st of October 2025 (Friday) from 11.00 am to 4.00pm at the Grand Monarch, Thalawathugoda.
Nominations
You are requested to send your nominations to the SLCM Office in accordance with article 14.5 of the constitution on or before 8th of October 2025.
Posts for which nominations are being called
Nominations are being called for all members of the Council, except the President, President Elect and Vice President.
The Council is defined in article 14.1 and 14.2 of the constitution.
Article 14.1 (As per the approved amendments in 2022 to the existing constitution).
The office bearers shall be

Article 14.2
The Council of the College shall consist of 09 office bearers (Article 14.1) and 07 Council Members and the immediate Past President as an ex-officio Council Member.
Postal Votes
Voting by postal ballot shall not be allowed (Article 13.6 b).
Resolutions
Members are kindly requested to send in any resolutions to reach the secretaries on or before 08th of October 2025.
The agenda, received nominations and the resolutions will be emailed to members by 16th of October 2025.
